Facilitators

Evangelos is the Executive Director of Quickdraw Animation, President of La Caravan Dance Theatre Company, a performance artist, entrepreneur and a certified 5Rhythms® movement facilitator.  He has trained with Gabrielle Roth and been certified to teach by the 5Rhythms Teacher’s Association.  He served for years as a Board Director for the Clear Sky Meditation and Study Foundation and has studied with his meditation teacher Achariya Doug Duncan Sensei since 2002. His compassionate and investigative nature encourages clients to view fear and confusion as an opportunity for growth and transformation. He has a passion for integrating human development with the arts and business. His workshops and classes empower participants to seek ways to allow their passion to be expressed, their curiosity to be fulfilled and their gifts to be shared in the work that they do in a way that manifests great personal potential. In addition to teaching regular movement and meditation classes in Calgary and facilitating workshops across North America, Evangelos has studied movement, meditation, acting and business in Toronto, London, New York, Dallas, Australia and Japan. He creates an atmosphere that is safe and adventurous, yet still weaves in hints of humour and intensity.

Maya Lewandowsky is a performing artist,  director, choreographer and founder of La Caravan Dance Theatre.  As an experienced teacher with an advanced diploma from the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) London, Maya has worked with the W&M Physical Theatre, the School of Alberta Ballet and University of Calgary. Combining acting, dancing and singing, Maya’s instruction is inventive, theatrical and inspiring for participants of any age and skill level.
